Review - Aroma reminds me a lot of Precious. They offer similar dishes, but they each have their own merits. First of all, Aroma is significantly cheaper. In fact, the prices are great! The selection of food is wonderful too. We always have a lot of choice in ordering delivery. However, we rarely eat at Aroma. The service is just a slight bit lacking and the decor is a little sparse. Of course, eating at the restaurant is certainly enjoyable.
Aroma offers some interesting dishes, but often the more complex dishes are not as well put togther as they should be. The special rolls don't have the overall artistry or presentation you'll find at most sushi-centric restaurants. The regular rolls, while good, especially for the price, are at times skimpy on the fish and can be crammed into a slightly undersized container for delivery.
Despite the minor pitfalls in presentation and service, Aroma is an amazing value with fresh, delicious food.

Review - Excellent food !!! you cant go wrong with this restaurant. Try the sesame chicken, or general tso chicken they are both great!!. Lunch specials and dinner specials are very inexpensive, but surprisingly great food quality. I order at least once per week, food is nicely packaged to go and very nicely served at the restaurant as well. The one server they have is very polite and the sushi is reallly good too. (Chicken is always big chunks of white meat...I love this place)

Review - This is my one and only take out place. I live on 14th street and delivery takes them 15 minutes on average, which I think is incredible!
The sushi is amazing, always fresh, big pieces and nicely presented. Everything I've had on the menu so far is very good. Also, good quality ingredients (tasty and recongnizable).
Not too heavy or greasy like at some takeout places. The food is a little more refined, like what you would get at a decent Chinese restaurant, which I guess is what Aroma qualifies as. But I've never eaten in.

Review - This is our favorite place to order chinese from. The food is good and delivery is usually pretty fast. We have never had any problems with our orders and the food always arrives piping hot. The dishes are tasty and not too greasy or drowned in sauce.

Review - I've tried numerous Chinese takeout places in Hoboken, and I always come back to Aroma. The food is fresh and not greasy like Chinese takeout usually is. They also have an amazing lunch and dinner deal where you get an entree with rice, soup, an egg roll and a soda for around $8.

Review - Since we moved to Hoboken we've been trying many Japanese deliveries. The best is Aroma. This is the best bargain:try the spicy maki combo (4 rolls+ soup+ salad for 14 doll) and the fish is really fresh. They are fast and so far we haven't been disappointed!

Review - Aroma is my #1 choice. Yea they might get your order wrong (never happened for me tho). The quality is just great, I always hate eating chinese and not getting full. The price is great for a main entree, rice, soup, egg roll, and soda. kinda crazy seeing them actually dress up in proper chinese attire to make sushi rolls. Like the fish aquariums. Fun experience.

Review - I think Aroma is good for what it is - a take out/fast food quality chinese food. I must admit I order from here often because it is quick and cheap. However, this is not very good chinese food if you really know what chinese food taste like. It is nothing against Aroma, I haven't found a place in Hoboken with good chinese food. Food is generally smothered in an oily sauce and the vegetables don't taste very fresh. It's a shame Hoboken doesn't have better chinese food.

Review - This place is great. Their only downfall might be that they prepare food in certain preselected configurations. For example, you can't order yellow rice with spicy chicken broccolli unless you are willing to pay extra, in which case, you get an extra white rice no one will eat. Other than that, i highly recommend this place.

Review - We've ordered out from this place a few times and even though the food is good, they keep messing up our orders.

Review - Is it just me or does it taste like they put too much sugar in the sushi? I can't comment on the chinese, but the sushi is definitely not the best I've had in town. The orange ginger dressing is not very good at this place.

Review - I have always ordered takeout and the food has been delivered on time and hot. The prices are reasonable and the food has been excellent. I have been ordering from them for two years and they have never screwed up my order. Stick to takeout since what I have read this seems to be the better option.

Review - After reading the reviews on the Sushi at this place, I finally gave it a try. Considering the prices, I guess it's not such a bad place. Had a couple sushi rolls that were decent, but I wouldn't recommend the Yellowtail roll.

Review - I have ordered take out from Aroma for years. I love the food. However over the last few months, the delivery staff has been just plain rude. Today, a delivery man thought 3 dollars was not enough tip, (for walking around the corner mind you on a small order) and he scoffed at me and walked away. To me, it doesn't matter how good the food is if patrons will be treated in a such a way. Why spend your time eating your take-out if you are going to be upset the entire time??

Review - Aroma sushi is a delivery Chinese/Japanese restaurant that happens to have a pretty eat-in dining area if you are so inclined to do so. The only better sushi I have had in town is Sushi Lounge (at 4 times the price) and the chinese at Aroma is excellent as well. The only problem with the service is the obvious language barrier, explain your order and you'll get exactly what you want at a fraction of the price. Side note...best wonton and miso soups in town!

Review - I order sushi takeout from this place. Most are very delicious and the most important thing is that I never got sick eating raw fish. Never really sitting in, but the inside looks spacious. I like tight space personally. When I like to have some Chinese, I usually order 'seafood platter with eggplant'... yummmmy

Review - I have been living in Hoboken since 1990... Aroma is a relatively new restaurant. I like it because it gives enough food :), and the food is usually not soaked in sauce, and they sell upper medium quality sushi for a very good price! the interior is quite modern chinese too!
