Review - I wanted to dress up as Holly Golightly for Halloween and she created the most perfect dress. I have also had a number of pieces altered by her, and she is the ONLY person I will trust for alterations! She is truly gifted.

Review - I got my wedding dress at a sample sale at Priscilla of Boston and it was a little too big. Because it wasn't one of their custom dresses PofB wouldn't alter it and I had to take it with me that day. So I came here and looked at the reviews. Holly won! I did read on here that Holly did great work but took a long time so I went in to her three months before my wedding. She was friendly and talked to me about what I wanted done and what should be done. She told me to call her a week before the date we decided to have the second fitting, which I did. When I came in, the alterations were done. She did an amazing job and when I put it on it was as if she designed the dress herself as a custom dress for me. She even took it in a little more than I originally needed because we talked about my workout schedule and stuff so I didn't even need a second fitting. She then took it back to fix some beading, finish the hemline and train and add the bustle. She even recommended places to have it cleaned and preserved. If you ever need a special gown made or taken in, definitely go to her! And her price was less than what PofB charges as a minimum for their custom gowns.

Review - Holly is amazing. I can bring her pictures and ideas and she can take them and create something that builds on my ideas but sutis me. If you don't appreciate someone who will tell you that what you are thinking about is inappropriate for you (read that as it will make you look heavier, or please be realistic about what will be right and most flattering for you),or impossible ( like coming in to alter something that is three sizes samller than you are) she may not be the person you want. She has enough experience to know what is possible and reasonable. Holly is busy so let her know when you would like something done.

Review - Holly is great- she altered my wedding dress and has done other alterations and custom work for me. She's so great at what she does! The only downer is that she takes longer than she says she will...but that's not a big deal as long as you give yourself enough time ahead of when you need the items!

Review - Very nice lady - but i do not recommend taking men's suits to her (as that is my only experience). I am a bit particular and like my suits to fit just right. She did very poor quality work on 2 designer suits of mine

Review - I had Holly make a silk flower girl dress for my daughter and ended up having her make a dress for me, as well! I brought in a picture of what I liked, and she made a dress that was perfect, and even offered helpful suggestions as to what would look better and be more comfortable. Hands down, the best experience I have ever had regarding custom clothing!

Review - Holly is so talented. Our first project was a gorgeous coat for my wedding nearly five years ago, and I've been a steady customer ever since. I go to Holly for alterations and leave with custom clothing. She's the best!
