Review - We had never used a moving company before but after getting quotes from nearly every moving company in the area selected Alpha Movers for our move from Downtown Jersey City to Hoboken. Boy are we glad we went with Alpha. They showed up right on time, were done a half hour under the estimate meaning we only paid the four hour minimum for 4 guys. They were careful, fast, nice, and I never saw anyone navigate a truck through Hoboken better than our driver (we were in front of them and how they easily made it around double parked cars/trucks was impressive!). Highly recommend. Will never move ourselves again!

Review - I recently moved from Hoboken to West New York. I requested a quote through Alpha's website late one evening and received a call from the company early the next morning to set up a time for someone to come out to my apartment and give me an estimate of the move. Their hourly rates were slightly lower than other movers I had contacted and they were willing to do the move on short notice (i.e. 1 week's notice) so I decided to go with Alpha.
I found Alpha to be very efficient. I did not have an opportunity to pack up my one bedroom apartment before the move so I asked that the crew arrive at 8 a.m. A crew of 4 arrived around 8:15 a.m and had my entire apartment packed and loaded on the truck within 2.5 hours. I also found the crew to be extremely professional and trustworthy. They made what could have been a stressful situation very comfortable. I highly recommend their services.

Review - I recently utilized the moving services of Alpha Moving. I want to commend Alpha Moving for the high quality service, professionalism and efficiency of the moving crew which was assigned to my request. Their names were: Moshe, Eddie and Jimmy. They exhibited great care and diligence throughout the moving process. They were very cooperative with any particular requests, and were detailed in response to any questions or concerns. Review - I booked Alpha Movers based on the reviews on this site. Despite the fact that my request date was short notice, they were able to accommodate the date and time I needed. Not only were they right on time but they were quick and professional. My move was not the easiest because not all items were moving and yet the foreman went through everything I needed to take. The move still went faster than I expected and the price was more than fair. My new apartment had a narrow stairway and walkway and yet they were able to move in bulky furniture which they put in the rooms I requested. I had several fragile items and none of them were damaged. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs to move.

Review - I just moved to hoboken from Jersey city and used Alpha moving. I have used them before and it was a great experience and it still holds true. They are very fast friendly and the cost is fair. They know there way around hoboken and were able to make a stressful day of moving into the narrow streets of hoboken a pleasure. Review - I was very impressed with the quality service I recieved from Alpha. I moved out of a 3rd floor walk up and was shocked by how fast they were able to get everything out of the apartment on loaded onto the truck. 1. They worked from the minute they arrived and were fast! 2. They took time to appropriately package delicates like our flat screens, etc.
When moving into the new place they put things where they belonged and put anything that was taken apart back together correctly.
Most importantly, I noticed how careful they were when moving things in as to not damage the walls or hardwood floors.
I would highly recommend using Alpha and the price was definately right.

Review - Alpha Moving & Storage did a wonderful job with my move. Their Customer Representative Jackie did a wonderful job explaining in detail the process, and answered all of my questions in a patient and understanding manner. Review - After getting a few different price quotes for my move from uptown to downtown in Hoboken, I decided to go with Alpha and I am so glad that I did. They showed up a half hour early and moved so quickly that had it not been for my realtor giving me the wrong keys, they would have been done in less time than estimated. As it was they still managed to hit the estimate exactly. Whenever my next move is it will definitely be with Alpha again!

Review - I had to move from Manhattan to Hoboken a couple of weeks ago and I was told to use Alpha Moving. I am glad I did since they really did a good job at a good price. Also got a FREE VACATION out of it - for real! They let me choose from about 15 different packages just for using their services. I am going on a free 7 DAY CRUISE next month... What a concept! I only paid a few hundred dollars to move and now I am going on a free vacation. Alpha Rocks!

Review - We recently moved from JC to NYC and used the services of Alpha M&S. We were very pleased with the service we got and would use them again when we (probably) move again. They were all around a good mover to use. Used movers before and they were all sorta shady if you know what I mean. This company was as good as everything I read on this site.

Review - The management company in the Hoboken building that I used to live in highly recommended Alpha. So I visited their web site and it seemed professional and highly informative. I then called their office and spoke with Heather who was extremely accommodating and courteous. A company rep. came by shortly thereafter and gave me a price that was in line with the rest of the companies I shopped with. The move itself was a huge success - prompt, courteous service, nothing broken or damaged. All I can say is wow! Bravo! What a great company. Highly recommend. BTW - I also found out that the building I moved IN TO, also recommends them. They must be doing something right.

Review - These guys came recommended by a few different sources such as the managment company that manages the building I lived in in Hoboken, as well as the doorman at my new one. I also spoke to a couple of buddies of mine who used them lately. They seem to have a great reputation. So I went ahead and called and they were as good as the rep. they have. I am a pain to deal with, but could not find one bad thing to say.

Review - Moving is usually a traumatic experience. But thanks to your wonderful staff it was a pleasant one.
I chose Alpha because of my initial telephone contact with Frank Schepis. I had a lot of questions and concerns, and Frank was pleasant, efficient and respectful. I knew that I wanted Alpha to handle my move.
Erez Hatsvi, John Zimmer and Tal did the actual move. They were pleasant, conscience and efficient. They treated my possessions as if it were their own. Erez Zeevi, Baoz Halperin and Gilad Cohen handled my subsequent move in the same wonderful fashions as the others.
I know that most people write when they have a complaint- so I wanted to be sure to compliment you and your staff on a job well done. Keep up the good work!

Review - We recently used Alpha to move from Manhattan to Jersey City and were very happy with them. Someone came to our apartment to give us a detailed estimate with various options for supplies and having them pack things. To cut down on costs, we ended up doing to vast majority of the packing ourselves, except for some bulky and fragile items, and used our own supplies as much as possible (Staples is the cheapest, and they'll deliver for free). I got quotes from a few other places and Alpha was in line to cheaper than the rest.
The moving crew arrived right on time, were very courteous and took great care in wrapping up all of our furniture. The job was done right on schedule with nothing broken. They guys even stuck around for a few minutes afterwards to adjust where we had some of our furniture. I highly recommend them.

Review - I just used AAA Movers Inc. out of Paterson to move my 2br apartment I got a quote over the phone by this girl I think here name was Lana she was very helpful she helped me order boxes so the move would be in my budget. I was a little bit scared because I heard that the reason why they charge so little is because they are scammers. But Lana assured me that that’s not the case. On the day of the move my bill was exactly what Lana told me it would be but she was off by an hour. But the guys did a great job there was no damage I was very shocked and surprised especially with all these roomers going around about moving companies. I would gladly use them again and would recommend them to everyone

Review - Just used Alpha Movers this weekend. The crew was great - especially Simon. They were punctual, which started the day on the right foot. The only thing broken was a side plate, which I'm sure had more to do with my packing than the actual moving.
The end cost was just $20 over the original estimate, and may have been higher if i hadn't of expressed concern at the beginning that we do everything possible to stick to estimate, as we were on a tight budget. That meant we used very little of their supplies, and did all of the packing ourselves. It also let the crew know that I was watching the estimate, and would have called the company to complain if there estimate had been way off.
The furniture was all wrapped by them, the boxes all put in the right spot, etc. ect. I would definately call them again, and hope like heck I landed with the same crew.
