Review - I went to this restaurant a while back and I still recommend it to everyone I know. The chicken dish I had was fabulous. The best portuguese food i've ever tasted. The service was good, no complaints. The restaurant, although not glamorous, was very cozy. Try the white sangria!!

Review - My husband & I love Lisbon! Love their 'new' location . The atmosphere is cozy, friendly and relaxing. The staff is the best. The food & sangeria rate #1 in our book. Eat in or order out-you will not be disappointed. Get a sitter and venture out to Lisbon! The sangeria taste a lot better without the kids!

Review - Every single time I have come here over the years I get the best Spanish/Protuguese food I have ever tasted and the best service. I have turned so many people on to th is place! My favorite is the stuffed mushroom appetizers and then chicken and shrimp in wine sauce for the meal. Don't even think about dessert because you will be too full - the portions are HUGE! They also make GREAT red sangria. It is my fave place in JC and I have been here for 9 years, through the whole boom. May look like a little nothing hole in the wall, but it is amazing and reasonably priced too. I literally CRAVE it. Be warned, they are not open on Sundays, much to my dissapointment.

Review - The best things come in small packages. Located in a great part of Jersey City, I try to make it there at least three times a month. The food is superb! The service is very professional and inviting.I've been going there for years and have tried almost everything on the menu. We're never dissappointed and ALWAYS leave stuffed.I've turned so many of my friends and family on to it and they also agree when I say,try them and you'll be hooked! Best Portugese food I ever had. Definitly try the Sangria!

Review - One of my favorite places to eat - the food is ridiculously good here! The last time I went I had the jumbo shrimp in wine sauce and it was sooo delicious. I also like that the bar and the dining area are partitioned off, and the overall atmosphere is very chill. This restaurant is a definite good find!

Review - I went to Lisbon with high expectations after reading the reviews. However, I was sorely disappointed. My husband and I started with the chorizo appetizer that was decent except for the fact that it was really oversalted. We both ordered chicken dishes for the main course. He ordered the Chicken in Garlic Sauce and I had the Chicken Francaise. The presentation of the dishes was disheartening. Everything on the plate was slathered with a thick gel-like sauce. The coating of flour/sauce on both chicken dishes was so thick that we had to scrape it off in order to get it down. In addition, the Chicken in Garlic was oversalted. On the plus side, the fried potatoes were good and the service was friendly. However, I will definitely not be going to Lisbon again.
