Review - I lived at Admiral's Walk, south tower, for three years and I loved it here. It was a great commute for me (reverse commute into west Jersey) and for my husband, who worked in the city. The Edgewater ferry is right next door! There's also a bus that rides straight down river road that stops right outside our door. It has a gym, a clubhouse that is for public use, great security, friendly doormen, swimming pool, basketball court, shuffle board cout, AND private tennis courts. It's seriously great living. Edgewater is awesome too. It's a nice middle between Hoboken (where I used to live) and the suburbs. I especially loved the bagel place, nail salon, and eateries right across the street! 1/2 mile down from great shopping and walking distance to amazing restaurants.

Review - Lived here for over 6 years. Great outdoor pool, tennis courts, deeded parking space, 24 hour security and concierge, 2 bedrooms are approx. 1,500 square feet. Ferry right next door gets you to NYC in 12 minutes. bus stops are right outside bldg.

Review - I bought a bedroom in 2004 and never regretted it. Maintenance is $550, but the staff is friendly and prompt and keep the place looking great. I've never seen anything on the property that would be considered an eyesore (like that abomination they call a tennis court at Galaxy). All amenities are constantly upkept and maintained. They recently redid all of the balconies.

Access to the city by GWB, Lincoln, bus stop right across the street and a ferry right next door.

Review - I would check www.njmls.com for available units. Also, I would try calling the management office at Admirals Walk in order to see if there are units available.

Review - What are the maint fees on a two bedroom?

Review - A better place to rent if you can find one. The age of the building and the general market around Edgewater mean you could rent a 1200 sq. ft. residence for less than 2000 a month. That's about 400 dollars less than what you would pay over Avalon or other EW rental communities. Your landlord is responsible for the property taxes and the condo fees, not a bad deal. If you want to buy, IMO, this locale is not worth much more than 300-330 dollar per sf. If you are willing to pay in the 400s psf, go for the newer old condos like Grand Cove instead.

Review - Great place and great view. However, the maintenance fee is quite high for the returns you get...and the maintenance fees are not tax deductible :)
