Review - Living at HH for 18 yrs. in (3) different units as a renter and as an owner; noise is rarely an issue.
The lobby has been renovated and the elevators are new.
All HVAC systems are new, entire outside bldg. including all terraces have been reinforced with new rails, brick point and tuck and sealed.
Staff are very hard working, helpful, 24/7 and new mgt. company is helping building.
The mix of population is one of diversity with young families, singles, couples and seniors.
The amenities are tremendous; pool, tennis courts, ample visitor parking, and security included with the maintenance and an optional discounted group cable fee. Most recently, brand new laundry equipment was installed and the room itself was retiled and painted.
The walking and biking paths, NYC ferry, NJ Transit bus at your front door, access to almost every highway in NJ literally 1.5 miles away, Veterans Park, Hudson River skyline views and convenient shopping make HH condo bldg. an entire lifestyle less costly than living in NYC yet minutes away from NYC.
Plumbing pipe problems outside the unit are the only issue which are responded to as an emergency, quickly repaired and any repairs needed inside the unit are paid by the condo association. I was only affected twice in 18 years.

Review - Been living here for three years. The staff is great, always friendly and helpful. Problems and things that make this building not so desirable come within the owner tenant vs. rent tenant makeup of building and the age of building. First I'll start with age of building, because it is older building expect to run into a infrastructure problem at least once a year and usually with water and second problem is soundproof. It is pretty thin and although it is required by condo bylaw, lot of units do not meet that requirement.
Second is going to be more controversial but I'll say it anyway. Due to drop in rent prices and lowered sale price of units, there have been big influx of blacks and latinos. There are more than often times of these neighbors blasting music, watching a game loud, straight up partying, at late hours disturbing others. It is becoming very undesirable. Last thing you want as tenant living there whether as owner or renter is having someone making lot of noise at late hours especially when walls have hardly any soundproof.
For people starting out, this is great building to rent if you can overlook the occassional loud noises and disregard from neibhgors. However if you can't stand that and need quietness this is not the building. Until rent prices go back up higher, this is not going to change.

Review - Well, I visited Hudson Harbor today, but unlike all the reviews here(whoever wrote all these), the place was disappointing. The neighbor is definitely upscale and there are securities guards at the gate and in the main lobby, but the elevator is slow, and the place smalls like food. Do you want to sniff the food you did not cook in the hallway? I would say, no. Although I am leaving not really a good comment, you should see the place, because every person has a different point of view. Hudson Harbor is a Should see place. =)

Review - The newly redesigned cherry wood lobby, dark green marble and state-of-the-art concierge station has given this building a fabulous new look. Next - computerized high speed passenger elevators. Stay tuned.

Review - Looking to buy in Edgewater. Would like input on HH such as quality of amenities, residents, problems with units i.e. flooding, mold, bugs (etc.). Since it is an older building, just a few concerns. Looks nice, but what can we truly expect?

Review - Check out the northern side of this building. Fabulous dead center views of the George Washington Bridge and the Palisades. It reminds me of my old home in San Fran.

Review - There's no question that the lobby is sooooo 70's and the elevators need to be upgraded. However, it's a great place to live for any age. The condominium has great ammenties that includes a gated entry, full time doorman, hair & nail salon, gym, reading room, large outdoor pool, children's play area and a waterfront promenade. Also the large aparments, amazing river views and quick access to the bridge makes this community a best kept secret. I love it.

Review - HH is a full service luxury doorman building with direct access to the Hudson River. Plenty of on-site ammenties. Great upscale neighbors - Shelter Bay Club and Hudson Cove. Gated and well maintained.

Review - Truely a safe and peaceful place to live. However, the elevators need to be completely overhauled and the lobby could use a good decorater. However, the apartments are huge and offer amazing unobstructed views in every direction. Huge wrap around terraces in all the two bedrooms apartments. Hudson Harbour is well maintained and well worth it - lot's of ammenties. Highly recommend living there.

Review - Hudson Harbour was the true pioneer for luxury housing in Edgewater, back in the late 1960's. Hudson Harbour is by far older, has occassional plumbing issues, and a dated lobby. However, the 24/7 concierge, gated staff, fabulous views and excellent property manager; truley makes Hudson Harbour a great place to live. Very safe, very clean and only five minutes by car to the GW bridge. I would highly recommend living here.
