Review - I had been searching for a claddagh ring for months and couldn't find one I liked. I brought in pictures of 3 different rings and Reynold helped me come up with a design that would combine the best elements of each for a custom ring that was perfect. He and Tony worked with me to come up with the best ring in my budget and, just as important, my timeline. I was in a rush to get the ring made as I was moving out of state.
I could not have been happier when I picked up the ring. It is exactly what I wanted, priced very fair, and is absolutely gorgeous. I have gotten numerous compliments and love knowing that this ring is one of a kind. I highly recommend HG&D, me entire experience was positive from the design, customer service, value, and craftsmanship. I cannot say enough great things about Reynold and Tony and will definitely consider them in the future even from out of state!

Review - I came into Hoboken Gold 6 days before a cruise where I planned to propose to my girlfriend. And I didn't want to just open a catalog and pick a ring; it had to be special. Tony, Jack and Reynolds were able to get me exactly what I needed, in time and at the price I wanted. As long as I live in this area I will be going to see these guys.

Review - I have an Esquire watch very dear to me, I have asked so many stores to repair the clasp of the beautiful watch band. Nobody wanted to deal with the relatively big effort for something not lucrative to the store. Living abroad now, I am here for a visit and tried Hoboken Gold Exchange on Washington St. They were really great!! Made a big effort, fixed the watch, for a wonderfully low fee. What nice old fashioned good customer service, and genuine kindness, again, without gaining much from it. The watch wasn't even bought there, it would have been easy to say (like all the others did, in our throw-away society, so you'll buy a new one)that fixing it would not be possible. I'm really glad they have fixed it!

Review - I went to Hoboken Gold to find an engagement ring. I told Tony what I was looking for and how much I wanted to spend and he got me the best diamond I could have asked for. I even went to him for our wedding bands. He custom made my wedding band as well as my wife's wedding band. Everytime I go there Tony and Reynold are both very professional and honest. I have shopped around for jewelry and by far this is the best jewelry store I have been to. I will continue to go to Hoboken Gold for as long as they are in business and I hope its forever. If you are looking are beautiful jewelry and professionalism, then Hoboken Gold is the jewelry store to shop it. If they don't have the item you are looking for then they will custom make it for you. Review - I wanted to give my boyfriend a celtic cross for Christmas and I had a very specific design in mind. I searched the internet and even contacted jewellers in Ireland but no one carried this design in stock. When it became clear that this piece would have to be a special order I did not hesitate to go to Hoboken Gold Exchange. I've dealt with Reynold many times in the last few years for minor repairs and cleanings and he has always been professional and very pleasant to deal with. I picked up the finished cross today and I couldnt be happier. The craftsmanship is outstanding. The price was more than fair for a special order, especially given that the price of gold is still high. I highly recommend Reynold and the Hoboken Gold Exchange.

Review - I have to say this place is Honest and helpful. My fiance and I were shopping around for wedding bands and we went to several places in the area.
Every other place we visited insisted we could not find what we wanted at our price range. We eventually came across Reynold at Hoboken Gold Exchange and he said he would work with us. HE EVEN INSISTED on custom designing my wedding band to fit with my engagement ring at our BUDGETED price.

Review - I brought in my Tiffiany ring that was scratched and dinged and what I thought beyond repair. I got my ring back today from Hoboken Gold and Diamond and I was shocked . It didn't even look like the same ring. It looked better then when it was new. I have brought my watches to them for the past few years to fix , but this was amazing ! These guys do incredible work ! If you have a ring or watch that needs repair, there is no better place then Hoboken gold and Diamond ! Really , they are amazing !

Review - After purchasing my engagement ring from Israel, I needed the ring to be re-sized, and I noticed the prongs were snagging my clothing. I brought my ring to Hoboken Gold Exchange, REYNOLD re-sized my ring so it fits perfectly, and re-set my stone & replaced all the prongs which were very poorly done by the original jeweler. Review - I recently purchased a setting for a diamond engagement ring. Reynauld took his time with me and was very professional. When it came time to set the ring, he sat me down and set the ring in front of me. He even did a lot to educate me about the value of the diamond even though I didn't buy the diamond from them. Review - I recently had two rings resized. They also added little balls to the inside of one ring so it wouldn't spin. Reynauld did a great job, while I waited, for a very fair price. He also steamed out the rings so they looked almost new. They are also very nice and easy to work with. I highly recommend them!

Review - I was looking for a jeweler who could make me a band that matched my engagement ring. I didn’t want to schlep into the city and meet with the original maker of the ring, so I stopped into Hoboken Gold Exchange and spoke to Tony. Tony was honest and gave me a few options on how we could make this happen. With all the years of experience, I trusted him completely and we decided to alter my engagement ring to make a custom band that would match and fit perfectly. I was extremely hesitant to make this decision, especially since I loved my ring and thought it was perfect the way it was. Let's just say I couldn’t be happier with the work they did. Tony and his team are very talented; they KNOW what they're doing! I will definitely refer all my close friends to them...they also gave me a great price on all their services. Review - I was looking for a good deal for diamond studs. Being from FL I was aprehensive about dealing with someone out of state. There were no problems. They even shipped my earrings overnight. Review - Stopped in to the Hoboken Gold Exchange on 10-12-09 to have my gold necklace fixed. One of the round clasps had come apart. Well, the fine gentleman working there looked at it and had it fixed in 5 minutes. The gentleman said, since the repair was minor, that the work was free of charge.
You can't ask for more honesty and customer service than that. Stand up guy and business, and I would not hesitate to use their business for my future jewelry needs.

Review - Excellent service. I had my engagement ring fall off while at work and was leaving for a vacation the next day. These guys stayed late to size my ring so I could go on my trip without having to worry about my jewelry. They were friendly, answered all my questions, had me watch the entire sizing, and my ring looks fantastic. My finger is in between sizes and they were able to adjust the sizing to fit perfectly. Review - Best Jeweler in Hoboken. I went to all Jewelers in Hoboken to have shots removed from my ring as it was too tight. While other jewelers quoted me $40 and two weeks to complete- Hoboken Gold fixed it within 5 minutes for less than 1/2 the price.
They are very professional and the best part is they have an on site jeweler so work is always done extremely fast.
I went in today to resize a ring and it was done within 10 minutes.. Also, there was a small diamond ship missing in the ring and to my surprise he put a new one in it for me.. for free! No doubt I will be a life long customer.
I've never had better service or friendlier employees.

Review - Like one of the other reviewers, I went for the first time to have the prongs on my engagement ring tightened. Service was extremely professional, friendly and attentive. They showed me the problem, explained what they were going to do to fix it, and made me go in the back to watch one of the jewlers do the repairs. My ring looks fantastic. Price was very reasonable ($35 for a great job) and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes on a busy Saturday afternoon. Would highly recommend.

Review - Wonderful Service! I lost a diamond from my engagement ring & took it in to be replaced. The ring had a unique & difficult setting. They sourced a stone, cut it to fit, & then re-set it to match the rest of the ring. This process did take a couple of weeks, but the large, central diamond in my ring was removed & given to me for safe keeping while the rest of the ring was being worked on. I will definitely be going back & would recommend them to anyone!

Review - The stone on my wife's engagement ring was loose and we needed to have it tightened. The ring sat in her jewelry box for about a year because we didn't know where to take it to be fixed. We waited so long because we didn't know the name of a trust worthy jeweler and didn't want to leave the ring with just anyone. Hoboken Gold Exchange alleviated our fears as they fixed the ring while I watched. The whole repair took about 25 minutes. Not only was the ring repaired but it was also polished to a brand new shine. Excellent service... wish we knew about it a year ago.

Review - I originally went in in February to have my engagement ring resized. I was thrilled that they have you sit with the jeweler and watch it being done, to alleviate any fears of diamond switching. they steam clean it and make you check it...they are also very accomodating and friendly. I went back yesterday b/c I thought the stone was becoming too loose and they fixed it on the spot and steam cleaned it again. Their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Review - Just went in to have a clasp put on a bracelet and a guard for my ring. TO ensure the work, they had me sit with the person who was fixing the special guard for my ring. My 2 rings were steamed and polished and look absolutely brand new. The bracelet clasp is stronger than the one previously on it. I will go back to this shop as they are very trustworthy and friendly too,
