Review - My 2nd time here and the staff was friendly and professional. Practically no wait time . . . 2nd time seeing Dr. Islam and the medication he prescribed has already cleared my condition only 2 days later! No insurance. Visit was about $100 including the medication the Dr suggested picking up conveniently next door.

Review - My daughter's primary care physician failed to diagnose her mono after several visits. She got much worse on Sunday so we took her to PromptMD and Dr. Jain immediately suspected mono, gave her a blood test and in 5 minutes diagnosed her with mono. And the price was not bad, half of what it cost at the vet for my cat! They gave me all them papers to submit for reimbursement to the insurance company and I was surprised at the amount I got back. They are great, I avoid my pediatrician because you have to wait there for hours. When my kids need medical exams for high school and college, I take them to Prompt MD, it's worth the extra cost in terms of convenience. For serious problems, I would go into New York to a physician who is on the faculty of a major university hospital, but for minor stuff you cannot beat Prompt MD.

Review - These guys are fantastic: competent, friendly support staff, everything is squeaky-clean, and both Drs. are very sharp, with great bedside manner. Waits range from nonexistent to very short. I could not be happier with PromptMD.

Review - I have been seen by both doctors at PromptMD on several occasions. I am presently being treated by Dr. Jani. The facility is spotless with the finest in equipment. Both doctors take time to understand the patient's needs. I recommend this facility to all of my friends.

Review - The minute I walked in the waiting room, the nurse noticed that I was really sick so she immediately gave me a mask and put me in a private exam room so as not to infect the other waiting patients. I only had a brief wait before Dr. Islam saw me. Even though he's not a primary care physician (even though I wish he was), Dr. Islam was so concerned (I had swine flu) he gave me his cell phone number to call him if I got worse during the night. The next morning I went back again (no wait) and he tested my daughter for H1N1 free of charge! I wish Dr. Islam was my primary care physician. I will never go to HUMC ever again!

Review - I had flu like symptoms and went over first thing in the morning. Dr. Jani saw me right away and provided professional and kind medical service. The charges were fair and they gave me the documents to file with my insurance company. This is a great place and would definitely go back, but hopefully not too soon.

Review - I was seen at PromptMD a week ago. I'm a physician who lives and works in NYC. I had been feeling ill for several days but by the time I thought I should see my doctor, it was after office hours. I knew I wasn't sick enough for an emergency department and investigated a few of the Manhattan urgent care options, but they were very pricey ($200-$250). I decided to hop on the PATH train to Hoboken (only 15 min from 14th St.) and check out PromptMD. It was such a good decision! The office staff was professional and courteous. The office was spotless. My wait time was under 5 minutes and I was completely satisfied by the medical care I received from Dr. Islam. While the office does not accept insurance, the consultation fee is only $90 and they can give you a form to submit to your insurance to request reimbursement. In my case, the consultation fee was less than what I would've paid to my insurance for an ER visit, so it was worth it. I would definitely recommend PromptMD without reservations. It is a great option for those urgent but not quite emergent medical issues!

Review - I had a really bad skin infection that was too minor for the ER but I did not want to wait the week it would take to see my regular doctor. After a 5 minute wait, I was taken to see Dr. Jani. The nurse and Dr. Jani were fantastic. They answered all my questions, gave me a thorough examination and gave me a script for antibiotics. I would highly recommend Prompt MD.

Review - I went to PromptMD this past Sunday to get treated for an ear infection. Like the other reviewers, my issue was too minor for the emergency room. The staff was professional and friendly. The doctor I saw (Dr. Islam) was also professional and knowledgeable. He didn't rush me and took the time to explain my treatment options. If I ever need immediate medical attention for non-emergency issues, I won't think twice about returning to PromptMD over waiting days to get an appointment with my regular doctor.

Review - I couldn't get in to see my regular Dr. Showed up at PromptMD and there was no wait. Staff was professional. Dr. Islam was extremely attentive, tried to save me $ by having lab tests done by an outside lab that was covered by my insurance. Offices were super clean. Finally an alternative to HUMC emergency room.

Review - I visited PromptMD for the first time last weekend. I had a bad case of swimmer's ear that is just the sort of issue that is too small for the emergency room, too hard to fix yourself (I have an empty hydrogen peroxide bottle to prove it), and too annoying to wait days to get in and see your primary care physician. Dr. Islam, the owner of PromptMD, saw me right away and dealt with the problem. He talked to me about his practice and why he started it and he really seems like the kind of physician of the future that we'll all be lucky to have as we slowly unravel the healthcare mess we have in the US. I strongly recommend PromptMD for its cleanliness, its quality medical staff, and technologically advanced facilities (paperless medical records, full in-house blood-work, radiology, etc. on premises). Note: You will pay up-front for your visit ($90 is the base cost and what I paid), however, they will provide you with a simple form to submit to your insurer (I'll provide a follow-up on how that goes) and if you don't have insurance, at least you get the opportunity to see a quality physician promptly at rates that are far lower than other urgent care centers in the area (try $250 for many places in Manhattan that don’t take insurance either).
