Review - Joe's has great meat, and equally great customer service. Whether planning a party or if you just want to pick up something small for dinner on any given night, stop in his store (he's open until 7pm), ask what's good?, and you'll get 5 suggestions. Way better and fresher than supermarket food that comes under plastic and sitting on that white paper. And for hosting parties for 5 to 15 people, I just order a day or two early, or will even ask Joe for suggestions, and he carefully preps everything so all I have to do is turn on the oven. The deli counter has plenty of prepared food, as well.
Joe's is an old fashioned, independent shop with the owner's name on the door. Want to eat better? Start by buying better food. I have no problem with Garden of Eden, and I thoroughly hate Kings, but I choose to support the local guy. Top place.

Review - We are ashamed to admit, after living about 50 feet away, for years, this was our first visit to Joe's. The gentleman could not have been more helpful and he had a lot to offer as far as variety of meats, poultry and fish/seafood, as well as knowledge! It was a tough choice given the selection, we ended up choosing the Ribeye and could not have been better! We have eaten at some of the top steakhouses around the country and have to say this cut of meat, simply thrown in the broiler(per his advice) was far superior!! The flavor, the tenderness, the meat was like buttah! Fabulous meat, price and guy! Top notch, highly recommended!!! Looking forward to trying his take home dinners, as well!

Review - The guy behind the counter is not friendly at all. However, their take home dinners are friggin great. Excellent chicken, sausage and other stuff. The real deal, all homemade. I highly recommend, it's quality eats.

Review - Joe's has the best meats in Hoboken by far. Don't waste your time anywhere else. Besides the great meats and the outstanding selection, customer service is top notch. Joe is always willing to offer suggestions and read recipes to help you pick out the right meat for your meal. Don't shop anywhere else in Hoboken.
