My wife and I are planning on installing some overhead lighting. Can anyone recommend an electrician for this type of work? Ideally we would like someone who has done this sort of thing before in the HTB. Much obliged.

I used a family friend. I recall several electricians noted within other threads on the HT board. One thread subject I recall was track lighting.

My suggestion is check out these other threads.

Mancini Electric. Just met with owner recently. Saw some work he has done. Plan on hiring him to do my track lighting.

Mancini Electric seems to do a lot of the work in the building. I have not had it done but his estimates was much higher then some of the others that I spoke too. There are two lighting stores in Paramus. If you go check out the stores they will have some recommendations for electricians. Mancini has all the connections with the town so he will file the permits and do all that leg work for you. If you have some time on your hands and don't mind doing a little more work and research you can get a better deal.

Mancini is excellent and knows the building by heart.

My entire floor has been done by Apex.. 9732965508. Guys name is Casey and they did an awesome job on my place.

As you will see from the other thread, several owners were unhappy with the work done by Mancini. In some cases, he had to come back multiple times to fix things, and in other cases, he never fixed the problem at all. On the other hand, everyone seems happy with the work done by Casey. He also did a great job for us.

Agreed about Apex. Quality service.

Mancini doesn't return phone calls and apex has been accused by the super of doing faulty work...I would stay away from both....try toll brothers electrician....I think it is cirillo
