Luckily the dog issue isn't up for debate. If you buy here you follow the rules or move out.

if people do good things by rescuing dogs there should be no debate. The people in this building should worry about themselves. If there are big dogs they are probably service dogs and therefore are allowed and cannot be discriminated against from what I hear. The size of pets shouldn't even be an issue. There are several large dogs living in each building. It doesn't bother anyone...

I have 2 large dogs and both are blind ...they need me as a guide does this count. Also have an elephant but only use the service elevator to walk her

Yes -- the rules are clear. And at least at Washington Street, there don't appear to be any major violators. But, I think these rules hurt the value of our building by limiting the pool of potential homeowners. If someone has a dog over 25 lbs, they are not going to consider HTB. It's a dumb and arbitrary rule, but unfortunately, we would need 2/3 of the residents to vote to change it, which would be practically impossible. So we are stuck with it.
