$537k for a 1BR here with blocked views is too much when 2 BRs across the street are in the $500s, especially if your unit doesn't have any outdoor space. I think it's better to forget about the Trump name and pay closer to $500 a foot in a different building or maybe a little more and get real views.

let me preface this by saying sorry for going on the defense, but...

when it's all said and done, trump plaza will end up as one of the best investments (both for the short and long term) on the Jersey City Gold Coast... people who are buying units now at pre-construction prices will be seeing nice appreciations by 2008, not to mention further demand once the tower is finally completed.

buying at trump plaza is analogous to so many other investments out there... people would much rather drive a Mercedes than a Saturn... stay at the Waldorf over the Raddison. eat at Peter Luger's over Outback.

talk garbage over the brand name all you want, but perpetual, long lasting quality is what you will get in a trump building. so stop comparing trump's prices to other buildings that aren't even on the same playing field.

Hahahahahahaha. 2006 1BR = $537k, 2011 1BR = $395k

Parking is a rental at trump starts from $245 unreserved to $300 for reserved. I wish they would have provided option to buy parking spot.

What's going on with 77? The tax records show over 300 closings at Trump. I was really interested in 77 but I feel the prices are too high for the product. I can't afford Crystal Point but it is a beautiful building. Can you get a reserved parking space at Trump?

The 7th floor was incredible. There is really no other way to describe it. I have lived all over Jersey City, Hoboken, Manhattan, the J Shore, and I wouldn't think that amenities would encourage me to purchase a in a building with a design from 1992. The residences themselves are honestly just average and it is in JC. But nonetheless it could be worth it at the right price. The obvious qualm is the unknown... what if JC never actually ends up the way many expected or even get back to where it was.. and Trump doesnt market or manage the project anymore.... then you have a subpar metrohomes condo in JC...

When you say design from 1992 you are obviously referring to the exterior, not the interior.
I must say, I agree. Possibly even a style from the 1970's. But it's also a style that can probably stand the test of time. It would look OK enough 50 years from now.
Not sure if I can say the same thing about these glass glory structures which, to me at least, look more like modern office buildings.

Try $575,000 for #809.
You're only off by TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS.
