Review - John is a good mechanic, but he charges worse than a lawyer I have gone back to the dealer much less expensive. Everything is one hour with John - hook up the computer reader - one hour most places do not charge. I caught him charging one hour of time for replacing a relay it takes about two minutes.

Review - JRs is absolutely a diamond in the rough. I have a Pontiac but John is an expert in all cars. He is extremely honest and does great work. In over three years of going to JR’s from everything from brakes, to transmission problems to tune-ups I have never less then completely satisfied. I have never seen anyone walk out of his shop not completely satisfied. His fees are fair and reasonable. His work is far superior to any other mechanic shop, and that is why I drive past 10 other mechanic shops to go to JR’s in Edgewater, it is always worth the drive.

Highly recommended. Honest, knowledgeable and competent, owner John Radice is a Saab Master Mechanic with extensive experience and intimate knowledge of the cars. I love my Saab; he does too. He has Computer Diagnostic equipment for a wide range of foreign and domestic cars so he can reliably diagnose and fix problems for a much more reasonable price than at the dealership. Have been going there for 7 years and friends who have gone there have also been very happy. My girlfriend has also had him inspect used cars before purchase. He did the work thoroughly, for a reasonable fee and was extremely accommodating with scheduling. He treated her very well, which was completely different to how the car dealers did.
