Review - You can see the whole NYC skyline from here and the park is right up against the river (like its neighbor, Pier A.) There's a soccer field here, but it's only open to the soccer team. There's a walkway that goes around the field, though. There's no real grass here, just stones, and there's no playgrounds. However, the good thing about this park is that there's a cafe here where you can eat. One of the most distinct things about this park is that there's an big ampitheater that faces Ground Zero -- that's because before 9/11 it was designed to face the World Trade Center across the river.

Review - The park and the cafe were both a pleasant and refreshing change from the usual park scene. I found the cafe comfortable and not priced out of sight. The food was great and the views were spectacular. We caught it on a clear sunny day and could'nt have been entertained any better.

U.S. looking at lead levels in artificial turf

Two fields in New Jersey -- Frank Sinatra Park in Hoboken and a playing surface at the College of New Jersey in Ewing -- were voluntarily closed after state health officials found up to 10 times the amount of lead that is allowed in soil on contaminated sites that are being turned into homes

Review - Great park, but they really need to have the soccer teams stop playing before 11 PM. I work the European markets and I have to be up at 4AM, so hearing all the screaming so late at night is annoying.
