I am an owner who is living near the work site. Everyday workers are making progress. I can see partitions going up inside.

My closing was scheduled for June and in January I was told August. I am on the first floor with southeast view. I am looking forward to living at LT and to meet my new neighbors.

That means that August should be the earliest? - obviously with closings starting from the first floor

Has anyone started to lock rates? Am thinking about what to do with the mortgage - whether to lock one in now or wait. Would appreciate advice / thoughts....

It does seem they are closing top down. I have an end of July closing date and am on an upper floor.

doesn't make sense for them to close top down. they would want the money asap - meaning close bottom floors first

I don't understand. Top floors cost more, so they will get more money asap if they close them first.

I live next door to the site too (Liberty Towers). they are constructing bottom up. only the 3rd and 4th floors have walls so far. Cant believe they would close top down, that makes no sense. I am certain it would be bottom up. I am 3rd floor and had a scheduled close date of June 18.
