Review - i moved here from italy this past summer and i heard good things about cafe michelina it was said that you'd feel like your at grandmas house eating her yummy italian food.I had to try it myself. i enjoyed every bit of my Veal Carozza breaded veal layered with eggplant topped with fresh muzz. the service was great felt right at home. i'd def make this my regular place.

Review - I have been going to Cafe Michelina's for thw past decade and have been John's home. If you want wery good classic Italian food and feel like you are in a someone's home, then this is the place to go for a delightful meal. It is unpretentious in the food and service. It is a relaxed atmosphere where the servers spend time at tables just making new friends. I am a Culinary Institute of America grad and was a Director of Operations for Mario Batali, people line up at his restaurants for food of a similar nature, but this is a cleaner and simpler fare with the feeling of being at home. i personally know that , the very best ingredients are used, they do not cut corners, I have been in the kitchen many times and though small, the food produced is very good with no cost cutting or short cuts taken. My opinion is biased, not because I am friends with Pete and John but because I enjoy a very good meal at a reasonable price served by friendly staff.

Review - I live close to Cafe Michelina and go there regularly. I don't know what some of these other people are talking about because this place is great! Both the food and service are great. Definitely try to Chicken Michelina over Angel hair, it's one of the best! I get excited everytime I go here!

Review - With the quantity and variety of Italian restaurants in Hoboken - do not waste your time. Everything about this place is average. Nevertheless - have been there twice and they are consistently average.

Review - If you are not a regular here do not waste your time. The food was okay at best. Some people enjoyed there food in my party and some did not. The service was terrible.

Review - When Michelina first opened around 1995 I lived very close and it soon became my favorite Hoboken restaurant for Italian food. I now don't live as close but still make it a point to revisit periodically. The food has never been short of very good and sometimes is exceptional. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend.

Review - I HAVE BEEN GOING TO CAFE MICHELINA FOR THE PAST 8 YEARS AND I'VE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH SERVICE OR FOOD FOR THAT MATTER. THE STAFF AT CAFE MICHELINA ARE VERY GENEROUS AND KIND , THEY HAVE THE BEST SERVICE AND FINE DINING THAT I'VE EVER HAD IN A LONG TIME. I'M FROM NEW YORK CITY AND THERE ARE ALOT OF ITALIAN RESTAURANTS BUT NOT LIKE CAFE MICHELINA IN HOBOKEN N.J . I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EVERYONE!!!

Review - When I first tried Cafe Michelina's food for the first time it was LOVE at FIRST BITE!! I have been going there ever since for every occasion since the prices are reasonable and the food is awesome, and the service is beyond courteous. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Italian food, I must say it brings me back to the old days when Grandma used to cook! SO, you want good food and delicious mozzarella? It's a little Italy in Cafe Michelina!

I thought the food was awesome and that's a difficult recommendation to make in Hoboken...Top 5 in Hoboken for sure.

Review - I live out of state and I went to Cafe Michelina's and was impressed with the BEST Italian food I have ever eaten!! Now that I am back home I can't find Italian food that good I would recommend Cafe Michelina To Everybody!! The service was also exceptional!
