Review - great to have a drink...cozy atmosphere...good crowd. lunch there is very good. tues. night is a fun night there as well...with karoke and drink specials.

Review - What a delightful time we had at this great restaurant! The service was outstanding. The waiters were courteous and so pleasant. They noticed when you needed another drink, water glasses were refilled, and they frequently checked to make sure if anything else was needed. You can't beat the food!! There was such a variety of choices, and they're all delicious. Every dish was made to perfection. I love dessert, and you'll not find anyplace to top these fabulous, tasty dishes!! What a treat!! You'll love the inviting atmosphere, so bright and cheerful, you'll just want to stay all day. It was nice to see the owner mingling at the restaurant. He is a sharp , personable man. If you would like a real treat, visit the City Bistro. You won't be disappointed, you'll just want to return again and again. Thanks City Bistro for a memorable time.

Review - I've lived in Hoboken for 6 months, and I just discovered what I have been missing for those 6 months! The early pre-fix dinner is such a good deal - AND half priced drinks. The waiter didn't tell us the drinks were half off, but we noticed when we got our bill. It would have been nice to know, We probably would have ordered more. Wonderful roof deck to see the city view. Can't wait to go back and order off of their real menu. Enjoy!

Review - The food here is nice... anything from a light salad to a heavier, hearty meal is offered. The atmosphere is amazing too-especially on a summer night on the roofdeck. The view is phenominal and it's one of the only places I know with such an incredible view! My only complaint is about one of the managers/owners. She was yelling at one of her staff in the middle of lunch, and it was on a day where there were many people dining. It wis embarrassing for both herself and the establishment. I recommend next time to repremand the staff behind closed doors for a more professional approach.

Review - My friends and I went there on Saturday night to celebrate a friend's 25th birthday. WE had a reservation for dinner and we were seated promptly. We had a few appetizers, my favorite was the spicy shrimp with peanut dipping sauce. For a main course, I had the potato encrusted salmon which was excellent. A few of the girls had the diver scallops and they loved them too. We shared the chocolate cake with hazlenut ice cream and that was terrific. The staff put a candle in it for my friend to blow out which was really cute. I think we had a new waiter because he was a little awkward and seemed very unsure of himself. He gave it a good shot, though. We proceeded to the roof top bar where everyone was over dressed, considering it was not a dance club, but the view was magnificent.
All in all, we had a good time and the food was excellent. I would recommend it to anyone. Get a strawberry margherita while you are there!

Review - This is our favorite spot in Hoboken!!!
Whenever we have guests visiting out of town, we always bring them to The City Bistro. The minute you walk in the door you are treated like family. The scene is hip and fun, the food is and delicious, and the now that they offer parking, we will be there more then we are now!

Review - What an awesome place!!! I have not been to Hoboken in decades and I have heard so much about this place, so I decided to see what the buzz was about. We had an awesome time, excellent service from hosts to servers and bartenders. The food is delicious...I will definetly be back again and again. Thanks Bistro!

Review - I've eaten there twice, with no plans to return. In my two visits I got to experience an obnoxious maitre'd, average food, long waits and overpricing.

Review - We just walked out after a 10 minute wait for a table. I have no problems waiting for a table in a bar, but we were waiting 10 minutes for the empty table we were standing next to after we were told that empty table had a 5 minute wait for some reason.
