Review - I just went for my first time to Eyeshapes for a contact fitting and new glasses. I was able to get an appointment within a week and went during my lunch hour. Dr. Kansky was on time, gave me a thorough examination, and I was back before my hour was up. He is very nice, although a little pricey. But the service is worth it!

Review - I started going to Eyeshapes when I moved to Hoboken, and now that I live in Manhattan I still go to Eyeshapes even though I have to take the PATH train to get there. I've always felt that Randy Kansky was the best eye doctor I've ever been to - and that feeling was confirmed last year when I had a vision problem that 2 optometrists and 1 opthamologist couldn't fix, but which Dr. Kansky solved in half an hour. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my eyes. Only criticism is the administrative staff - they're nice, but a little slow with getting my new contacts sent out to me.

Review - Recommended. I randomly walked into Eyeshapes without an appointment, was given an appointment within a half-hour, and was completely taken care of. Very good customer service. Their doctor is especially worthy of praise. I had by far the best eye doctor experience I've had yet. This doctor can place contacts on your eyes as gently, easily, and fast as handing you a piece of candy! Very impressive! They also had state of art equipment, with a touch pressure sensor that you can hardly feel (no nasty bullet of air blown at your eye). They were also very fast and efficient, while being thorough. Their office is very appealing to the eye, too, having fine wooden furniture. Prices are a little high, but the doctor deserves it. It's money well earned. He was also very knowledgable about all types of things concerning vision and new products, and what's currently being marketed on the internet. Their glasses selection is not big, but adequate for most needs.
