Review - I have rented with Gotham City for the past five years. It is a reasonably decent apartment management firm as Hoboken apartment managers go. Rents and rent increases seem to reflect the current market. Maintenance is undoubtably their weak point. After normal business hours, it is nearly impossible to get service, even during emergencies. Often, it takes a couple of service calls to complete routine maintenance, due to slow service or poor first service attempts.

Review - I moved into a brand new apartment and the back door was broken. After 2 years of calling and complaining the door was still broken when I moved out. They charged us very high fees for repainting, even though we repainted the entire apartment.

Review - I have rented from them for several years now. Although the apartment is relatively nice, the building is always messy and the service from the company is terrible. It takes several days for them to repair something, and worse than that, they just come and do the repairs without any notification. Considering the crime and theft in hoboken, you would wish some common sense would prevail and they would respect you enough to give you a forwarning that they are about to enter your place. So, although it is a nice place, please be aware of the lack of privacy and communication.

Review - I did not have a problem with Gotham Management until I moved out. They kept our entire security deposit for extremely unreasonable causes. Exorbanent cleaning fees, eventhough the apartment was spotless. $400 storage fee for 2 hockey sticks and one bag left in the apartment, despite the fact that our lease had 1 day remaining and they entered and removed our property. Repainting fee of several hundred dollars, despite the fact that we repainted. Several hundred dollars for ordinary wear and use, citing no damage (as there was none).
Spoke with managers many times, they were rude, uncooperative and unreasonable. I have had much better luck wit private landlords in Hoboken, plus often no finders fee.

Review - If you are unsatisfied with the maintenance, there is a company that works in my building that are great. They work for Atlantic Management, the company that manages our building on Washington Street. We used to have horrible mangagement/maintenance people, they came as a package. They never cleaned, just took out the garbage. We switched management companies and they brought in their cleaning company. I love the people and their work. Their phone number is 551-655-6525. I would recommend them to Gothem since it seems that they have poor maintenance vendors. It makes them look bad as a management company.
