Review - In a real emergency due to unexpected freeze at our new rental bldg (211 Grand) they spent $25,000 in 10 days to restore our elevator and water service. Best building I ever lived in.. (except for the guys downstairs who left their heat off for a week in January) THANK YOU FOLKS!!

Review - Are you kidding, Marty A? This building and mgmt co are the worst I have ever even heard of - let alone experienced. Even if fixing the elevator is true, so what? Isn't that their responsibility to fix? And 10 days seems like quite a long time for those on the upper floors. It has been 8 months now since that building (211 Grand) opened and the lobby is STILL not painted. The building is more like a training model for what NOT to do when managing an apt building.

Review - The best management services. helped us out of a lot of physical problems in our bldg and got us a construction loan to do the work. thks quil guys

Review - This is by far the worst management company I have experienced. They do NOTHING. We have a BRAND NEW building that is falling apart and this company is so unresponsive.

Review - Here is one for you in the QUIL comedy of errors...they forgot to pay our insurance and disregarded cancellation notices, and our insurance company dropped us. We only learned of it when someone tripped on our sidewalk and sued us....

Review - The new building at 210 clinton is falling apart after six months. The elevator breaks probably twice a month and everything with the landlord is a hassle.

Review - QUIL is the management company of our building which is located in the VVP area. They basically do nothing except pay bills. There is a high building manager turnover which NEVER gets communicated to us. I doubt our last building manager has EVER set foot in our building. They have saved us money on insurance. Overall, they are good when used solely for administrative purposes. You had better have a strong board to monitor your building. Don't expect any help from them in this area.

Review - Here are samples of my experience with Quil: 1)no condo board formed for over a year after they take over building 2)my wife and I named president and vice president by Quil because we found an overdue sewage bill on top of our buildings mailbox that Quil had never paid or knew existed 3)completely unresponsive to requests to help resolve deficiency in condo bd checking account with special meeting 4)after 20 or so phone calls assured by Quil that a condo meeting will be set up on X date, person on Quil does not notify other condo members that meeting will be on X date, person at Quil then forgets that meeting is to take place on X date, when called day before X date to confirm everything is all set, person at Quil says meeting must be postponed because they forgot and she had not notified any other condo owners it was taking place, to add to the comedy Quil's rep goes and posts a a bunch of flyers at our condo building saying the condo meeting on X date is being postponed when nobody knew, other than me and my wife, that a meeting was even scheduled in the first place

Review - I too signed a lease for 210 Clinton. Should've moved in on May 15. I'm in Quil's temporary housing on First St. I'm very, very upset.
1- I'm grateful for the temporary roof 2- Quil said May 15 for 210 Clinton - it's July 19 3- Note under door asking for rent - call me instead! 4- The 1st St temporary isn't worth half my 210 Clinton rent 5- If I had a way out I'd take it. But I can't find anything else in Hoboken I like so they've got me!

Review - We were also supposed to move into 210 Clinton Street a while ago. The management company has a new excuse everyday for why the building is not ready.
I think if a few of us tenants spoke to Quil together, we could try and get some concessions from them.

If nothing else, it would be useful to talk about the many excuses which Quil is coming up with.

Review - I too was supposed to move into 210 Clinton Street. I've been house short term at an apartment owned by Quil, which was a hassle and a half to get into in the first place. Well, on July 9 they slipped a letter under my door saying that they basically had no idea when 210 Clinton would be suitable for occupancy AND they wanted rent for my temporary housing (which is falling apart). Not to mention they've begun cashing checks I gave them for the security deposit and rent for 210 Clinton Street.
What makes this worse, is they say it's not their fault! Take some responsibility... your ducks were not in a rown when you started signing leases. I'd love to tell my clients things aren't my fault after they sign contracts.
Has anyone else received a letter from Quil/Intrepid about paying rent for an apartment you didn't want to live in in the first place? We should start some sort of group response to this ASAP.

Review - I was also supposed to move into 210 Clinton on June 1st. They told July 1st at the lastest, but that was before they failed the fire inspection!! My sympathy goes to those who were supposed to move in May 1st. Currenrly my roommate and I are living in a run down apt on washington street with no shades!! It's like living in a fisbowl. Absolutely ridiculous!

Review - We're moving into a beautiful building at 210 Clinton. We were promised a move-in date of 5/1/04, then 5/15/04... now it's 6/15/04. This is horrible, we'll be w.out a place to live for two weeks and have to move our belongings TWICE!!!
