Review - A true treasure found!!! Trattoria Saporito is amazing. The pleasant staff, the wonderful food, and the relaxing atmosphere create the best dining experience at a really good price. My fiancee and I go all the time for their lobster ravioli in vodka sauce. It is absolutely our favorite dish on the planet. If I could get inside that kitchen to copy some recipes I'd do it in a heartbeat and try to make the dish at home every night. For the ONE review that didn't like it, you are definitely a rare case.

Review - I have had the Gnocchi and it is delicious (not microwave) as is just about everything else on the menu. With an exception of La Tartuferia (which is real pricey) its my favorite restaurant (and I have tried just about all of them in Hoboken - living there for 8 years allows such a thing) The food is excellent the portions are great, the price is right, and its BYOB which makes the price even better. The service is great, every time I go there; I get the feeling that they want my business!

Review - This restaurant is high quality and reasonably priced- something you don't find often. The food is fresh and delicious, the service is good, and even though the restaurant is too small, it is relaxed and confortable. I continue to go back to this place because it is consistently good. You might have to wait for a table on the weekends, but that's what happens when a restaurant is good enough that people are willing to wait.

Review - The food at Trattoria is better than New York's finest Italian joints --- and that's the truth. I've been to Babbo, Scalini Fedeli...and Rao's...and Trattoria's food is just as fresh and creative with unique dishes that you'll only find in Italy...been there too. And the best part, you don't have to break the bank to enjoy a quality dinner. The cast of characters in the kitchen are straight from Italy...so the food in authentic. When you arrive, expect a million specials(all recited to you). And the wait staff is courteous...and attentive I don't know what this guy is talking about in regards to them rushing you out. It's not that case at all. Perhaps it was on a busy Saturday. But from my experience the waiters are attentive, friendly and always smiling. Get the Salmon Puttenesca...or try the Pesto sauce on ANYTHING. Yum!

Review - Don't pay attention to the review about the bad gnocci. I go to this place all the time and it so happens that my favorite dish there is...THE GNOCCI! And let me tell you...it's the best in jersey! It's made fresh daily and secondly, it doesn't cost 32 dollars. Try 12!

Review - Having eaten in Trattoria Saporito many times I can say that the food, decor and service are top notch, which accounts for the fact that this place is usually busy and one might wait for a table from time to time. The prices are reasonable. Whoever criticized the prices or the food in previous reviews must have been on another planet.

Review - I've eaten at this restaurant a few times, and I haven't found it to be as good as some of the other Italian places in town. However, in response to the people below who were unhappy with their meal and its price so they didn't tip...I can't believe that you even had the nerve write that in your review. Is it waiters fault that you didn't like your meal? just don't go back!

Review - I went here on Valentine's day, and was sat in the back near the kitchen. The appetizer we got was amazing and tasty, but we both ordered the specials and they were awful. My boyfriend got gnocci, they tasted easily like a microwave dinner. My dinner had seafood in it, and it was overcooked and below average. When we got the bill- our specials cost way over any prices on the menu absolutely taking advantage of people. It's uncomfortable asking for prices when you are told specials- usually its a few dollars more. But the mediocre gnocci were 32 dollars and my dish was 35!!! Totally crazy when similar dishes on the menu are 15 dollars. It put a huge damper on our Valentines Day. The place was too small, we felt unconfortable arguing over the bill. So we didn't tip.
