Review - I had a wonderful experience at the River Spa. My girlfriend and I made plans for a weekend of complete relaxation. I gave rather late notice, but the woman at the front desk was more than accommidating and was able to get the two of us in! For the afternoon, I had a massage with a woman named Jill, and my friend was in for a facial with Lilly (if I remember correctly). We had an amazing afternoon. I would recommend this spa to anyone, especially those wanting to get away from the high city prices!

Review - I received a hot stone/swedish/deep tissue fusion massage here and it was wonderful. The therapist was Karen, I think, and she was very professional and friendly. She worked out the tension in my back and suggested some yoga moves to help prevent future tightness. The prices were very reasonable and I was happily surprised at a first visit discount. The spa's decor was calming and contemporary. It was a great experience and I will go back as soon as I can.

Review - Service received was good. however, scheduling was very difficult, they 'lost' an appointment I had scheduled weeks in advance and it was difficult to reschedule.

Review - I received a facial and was quite pleased with the quality of the service. The cosmetician was very knowledgeable, pleasant and competent. I did not have any trouble with my appointment, except that the website lists the price as $85 and the actual price was $90 - apparently they have not updated their site. Also, I did not receive a new client discount, nor any little freebies - which lots of places in the city offer. Maybe that's not a big deal, but it would have been a nice touch.

Review - I too have had problems confirming/cancelling appointments. Not sure why this is a challenge. Otherwise, I'm fairly happy w/ the services.

Review - One:I went for a massage and the guy told me that I am getting a hump in my back from not standing up straight enough which wasn't very nice or relaxing.
Two: I went to get a spray tan and I walked out looking like an orange. I was streaky and dirty looking and on top of it all the owner said I looked beautiful even the next day when I went in to get my money back she said I didn't look bad at all....I did, so much that people were looking at me weird b/c I was soooo ORANGE

Review - I've gone for waxing several times and have been very happy with the results. HOWEVER, each time there has been a problem with my appointment. First they lost an appointment that I had booked weeks in advance, next they called to cancel an appointment again that I had booked weeks in advance and finally they changed my appointment on me from one day to the next without notifying me - I was alerted of this when they called to confirm the appointment. On each of these occasions they were completely unaccommodating.

Review - airbrush tan . not a good job at all. i had streaks all over my arms and my hands and feet were a mess. i do not think the people know what they are doing. i believe they just started doing it, so they may not be experts yet. other services are great. just not airbrushing!

Review - The spa is very beautiful, and I would like to go back for some other services. I received a waxing here, and I think the quality should have been better. The waxing was done in a dim room, and while I'm all for spa ambiance, I think this treatment needs full light. Also, careful and thorough tweezing with the magnifying mirror needs to be done after every kind of wax.
