Review - This place is really as good and friendly as the reviews say! I was so pleasantly surprised tonight as my friend and I had dinner here for the first time. We both had the soup special (chicken pot pie...YUM) and salads. Great carrot cake and coffee was the perfect end to a great meal. I definitely will be back for breakfast and lunch (the sandwiches sound delicious). This place a exactly what I was looking for - a friendly and casual neighborhood restaurant with simply good food!

Review - It seems as though all the reviews on this restaurant are positive, and I have to agree. Not only was the signature pretzel sandwich amazing, but the coleslaw served with it was excellent-I don't even like coleslaw! I like the atmosphere of the joint- the cozy lil'counter and the quaint tables. I could, however, do without having to look directly into the refrigerators and kitchen... but at least we are well aware that everything is made and kept fresh! =) My only complaint are the hours of operation. The last two times I've been by (and been very excited about eating here), it's been closed. Boo hoo. Overall though, when they're open, a+

Review - A great addition to the neighborhood. Simple but surprisingly good food. Had a thai chicken salad on special one night that has me clamoring for more. Very nice guys running the place, too. The only place where I prefer to sit at the counter rather than at a table so I can chat with the folks running the place.

Review - We ate on one of the cute tables outside of this little place. The food was great and very reasonaly priced. Our waiter was extremeley friendly and accomodating which made out experience even better. Our food was a bit delayed and he threw in dessert free of charge, which was unecissary but delicous! Go!

Review - The food here is great - they have the best and most creative sandwiches - and their entrees are awesome too. I love eating there and it's BYOB!

Review - This place is great, there food is simple, and delicious, service is great, the guys that work there are so friendly and accomodating, and the price is right. Oh and it's BYOB. I have had dinner there twice, salads and sandwiches and look forward to eating breakfast there soon. Try it, you'll love it.

Review - We just moved to hoboken, and, up the block frm this place, which we stumbled across on a rainy Sat. morning.. What a pleasant surprise! We went in for a cup of coffe - expecting a shabby luncheonette type place.. instead it was lovely and buzzing with a fantastic crowd..(Ihate reviews which mention the crowd ..rather than the food - and I've just done it!oops!) but it really was a good atmosphere..we just had to try the breakfast...which was delicious! Good tasting pancakes... just the right texture..and good bacon..my husbands potatoes were so good i kept eating off his plate! Peppery and delicious! And yes - the owners were very nice and friendly..Looking forward to anoter visit soon! (and it's right up the block!)

Review - This is my favorite place to eat in Hoboken. I can't say enough good things about it. The food is simple and delicious. The diner sandwich is amazing. They always have great specials on the menu to change things up. The guys that run the place are so friendly and make you feel at home. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, they do everything top notch. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out.

Review - The dinner items are indeed delicious. The first week they were accompanied by a delicious mashed potato and mixed veg. The next week they shook it up, with roasted potatoes and a sauteed swiss chard with roasted cherry tomatoes that was out of this world, and paired just great with the salmon. The meat loaf and chicken are also great as well, and every pasta I have had there (ravioli, gnocchi, chicken and mushroom lasange, and a special one night of orechiette with cherry tomatoes and broccoli rabe or something was outstanding.) And let's not forget the Cup Joint salad of watercress and arugula, or what may actually be the world's best carrot cake. And yes, the place is reasonable beyond belief, and the people could not be nicer, as everybody has noticed. Good for them !!!

Review - This place is great! The dinner selections are terrific. The food is delicious and the staff couldn't be friendlier. BYOB and very reasonable prices! We keep going back and back. We hear that lunch and breakfast are great too.
