Review - i lived here for 2 years in a 2/2. the apartment was spacious and delivered very clean. the doormen are generally great, remembering your name and offering to help with groceries and what not. very pet friendly and amiable neighbors. maintenance personnel are polite and most work orders are addressed same day. on site dry cleaners is a big plus, as is the very well maintained fitness center. a great rental property. not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Review - I recently moved in after checking out about 7-8 places in Hoboken and six places in Jersey City. I found JC is about $200/month cheaper than Hoboken for equivalent features, and I can park on the street at night (can't do that in Hoboken!) The Gotham is in a great location, 2 blocks from Grove St and Exchange Place PATH stations, close to the waterfront, 1 block from post office, 2 blocks from city hall, etc. Nice neighborhood; I can walk around the area even late at night and don't feel nervous. Good restaurants in the area, though not as large a selection as Hoboken (but I can always hop on the PATH train and be in Hoboken in minutes). Overall this is a great place to stay -- definitely a good choice. The other reviews are accurate -- friendly front desk, all of the people I've met so far are friendly as well, and the rental office staff (Erin and Spring) are professional and top-notch. I definitely recommend checking this place out.

Review - My roommates and I have lived here for over 2 yrs and are hoping to sign-on to a 3rd year (barring no major rent increases!) and we love the location! The bldg is pretty well maintained and any in apt repairs are completed within a reasonable amount of time. We've had no issues with our neighbors...maybe some noise disturbances which the front doormen investigated and reported. The gym is a great addition and so is the extra laundry room on the ground floor (for the big items you can't fit into the unit's W/D. A definite plus is the attached parking garage, managed by a diff company. A parking space goes for $160/month....a reasonable amount to pay to avoid the scratches and dents from street parking. Please keep in mind that you don't have to go through mgmt for every little bulb replacement and repair. The costs are sky high (check the lease!) so you're better off doing it yourself. Overall, its a nice place to live. I have no major complaints to date.

Review - I recently moved to the Gotham, and thus far, I absolutely love it. Lets face it, no matter how great the property, someone will always have something negative to say. Personally, I love living here. Everyone is very friendly, maintenance comes extremely quick, and overall it's in a great area of JC-the grove st is just 2 blocks away!
