Review - Got my hair highlighted here and it looks better than it ever has! They know exactly what do do whether you want a simple haircut (my boyfriend loves his) or something trendier and funkier. And the price cannot be beat (haircut-$15, full head of highlights and toner plus blow dry, straighten-- $95). Awesome place.

Review - I have gotten a few haircuts and colorings here. Ken and Nguyet do an awesome job. The last haircut I got there received so many compliments. I don't even style it and it looks great all of the time. It's edgy but sophisticated. I love it. I don't live in Jersey City anymore but I drive 30 min there because they're the best.

Review - This was the first time getting a haircut at Studio 17. Mind you, I had been to numerous salons in NYC and NJ area and had not found my regular hairstylist. I went on a few great recommendations fr jclist. I got my haircut from Ken and he gave me a consultation, while examining my hair. He listened to my needs, wants, and concerns I had about my current hairstyle (or lack of). He exceeded my expectations and addressed all of my concerns. Awesome haircut...and for only $30 (plus tip)!! I have an easy maintenance style that is modern & edgy. I will be returning in a few months. I watched Wynn, the other hairstylist, do her thing and she does great cuts as well.

Review - The ladies at Studio 17 are very much aware that your hair appearance is just as important as your facial appearance. FIRST IMPRESSION IS EVERYTHING! My mom's hair has a natural orangy/red tint to it. Every color we used turned out in the end with an orangy/red tint. The lady there matched the color to my mother's roots perfectly! They take their time, they make you feel as though your hair is just as important to them as it is to you. I live in MA now and travel there to get my hair done. I trust no one else!
