Review - iam purchasing a unit here and iam very excited! its truth the area its horrible right now,i think the building needs more security. but iam sure in 3 o 4 years is going to be so much better. just look around the area. they are already few depelopments.just think about hoboken how was few years ago.

Review - Yes there is a security officer there 24/7. The parking lot is probably safe because it is very well lit, and you don't see a lot of people around there at night.
It's the neighboring streets around the Foundry that I'd worry about. Streets such as Communipaw.

Review - I thought they were just selling units. I was unaware that there are rentals. Are they being rented by the developer or by an individual who purchased a unit?

Review - I looked at the units for rent today and I am seriously thinking about renting a 2-bedroom there.
I am worried about the safety of the area at night. I work long hours in Manhattan and wonder if the walk through the parking lot is really that unsafe?
Is there a security attendant on duty at that parking lot 24/7? That makes me feel safer, I think...

Review - i think the building its great.for sure has a lot of potential. iam just concern about the area. is it going to change? how long will take the area to develop? i think the building needs more security.

Review - I've lived in other areas of J.C. before they were desirable and I never had a problem - but I have made a lot of money from the sales of those properties. There has been some unfortante incidents in the past few months in the area, but those incidents are not exclusive to this area and push to develop that area, especially around the Foundry (Communipaw and Johnston Ave.) will impact crime rate, etc.

Review - i have yet to speak to security officer. however, i do appreciate your concern. i do agree that currently, the area may not be the most desirable. it is no worse than hoboken or newport were not too long ago. i am not a real estate agent. i do think the community will improve over time. again, thank you for your input.

Review - To the person who did the walkthrough, sure the Foundry is beautiful. But what did you think of the area? Did you speak with the security guard who sits outside near the Light Rail?
I highly recommend you go speak to him..he'll be more than eager to tell you how unsafe it is to walk across the parking lot at night. Or even how unsafe it is to walk out at night on the weekends.

Review - i have just returned from a walk-through of the foundry and it is beautiful. my realtor is yvette from weichert-hoboken 201.978.3048 and she has walked through every step of the way. she informed me another phase 1 unit is available. her partner rick is the listing agent and i highly recommend her services.

Review - I disagree - with all the other development surrounding the building and the light rail it will not take 4-5 years. The first 30 are all sold out. Another 60 will become available and I will buy another one than. Not many people know about the project now - the website is not even functioning yet - http://www.weicherthoboken.com/.

Review - They're not all sold out. Go to Weichert's website and you'll see a bunch of units there for sale.
This building definitely has potential, but plan on holding for the next 4-5 years. It's not a flipper property.

Review - I purchased a unit here. So far, they are all sold out. The building is amazing - including a catwalk to the upper apartments. I would defiitely recommend it.

Review - Just curious, has anyone seen a unit in this building yet? When is the project going to be completed and move in ready? Price and amentities sound great but just a little leery about investing in the Bergen/Lafayette area.

Review - This area has a lot of growth potential. The state has plans to revitalize the park. also 3 new condo bldgs just north of the foundry is proof that the area is changing.
