Review - Was invited to a wedding on the Royal Princess, one of VIP's smaller vessels, by a dear friend.
200 yard walk over floating, moving, deteriorating, pier was a dangerous obstacle course. Older guests, women in spike heels, made boarding an accident waiting to happen.
Boat was a bit crowded and lifejackets were no where to be found. When I mentioned my concern, I was told, trust me, nothing will happen. ?
Food was ordinary. Service was helpful and attentive. Bathrooms and cleanliness were ok.
Boat arrived back at dock 20 minutes late and deboarding procedures were even worse. 100 people waiting to get off while the crew took their sweet time getting everyone ready. Unlit walk over decaying, swaying dock added to the adventure.
I won't be surprised if/when something tragic happens here.
